THE ART OF ZEN THAI SHIATSU

The art of a true healer is to awaken the inner healer within another

Zen Thai Shiatsu is a holistic bodywork practice that blends Zen Shiatsu, Thai yoga massage, and osteo-integration techniques to restore balance to the mind, body, and soul.

Unlike traditional Western-style massages, which typically involve lying on a table while a therapist applies oil and kneads your muscles, Zen Thai Shiatsu is practiced fully clothed on a bamboo mat on the ground. This connection with the earth encourages deeper surrender, grounding you in the present moment and releasing the need to be, do, or see—allowing for true rest and restoration.

As a practitioner, I use stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to release tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility and circulation. But beyond physical relief, Zen Thai Shiatsu works with the body's neural-fascial network, energy meridians, and pressure points to create shifts on a physical, energetic, mental, and emotional level—bringing the whole being into balance.

Think of it as a yin yoga class, but with me—Bonnie—gently lifting, stretching, and rocking your body, guiding you into a state of deep relaxation and renewal.

Science is slowly catching up with what holistic traditions have long understood: true healing requires treating the whole being, not just isolated symptoms. Have you ever wondered what governs your breath? The same universal energy that moves the tides, guides the birds to sing, and shifts the weather also flows through you. Everything is connected. When we nurture the whole, the parts naturally return to harmony.

Book a session and experience the rebalancing of your entire being—inside and out.
